During this 3 DAY CLASS (August 16th, 23rd & 30th from 12-2pm) you will be guided in creating abstract works using experimental techniques that are easy and fun. Students will work with oil paints and cold wax medium using a variety of tools and on a variety of surfaces. This is the perfect class for the student interested exploring non-objective concepts with a non-traditional medium. Expand your knowledge about layering, scraping, carving, collaging, texturing and other fun techniques on a variety of surfaces; and, take home at least three works of art!
